The venue celebrates International Women’s Month in March and usually held at the Indio Performing Art Center. Women Rising pays tribute and honors women’s achievements in social justice, business, the arts, etc. Each year the committee nominates a “Woman Warrior of the Year” for her work in social justice, the arts, and her contribution for the betterment of all the community and individuals.
The vendors, speakers, artists, performers are all women.
